About bStable bStable is the only comprehensive commercially available personal health record system for patients diagnosed with affective disorders such as Depression and/or Bipolar Disorder, their loved ones, psychiatrists, and psychologists to manage the patient's disease state. Patients and the individuals in the patient’s support team use bStable together to collect and analyze data from various angles of the patient's life to avoid depression and/or manic related crisis situations. While there is medication for Depression and Bipolar Disorder (anti-anxiety, sedatives, antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers), how this medication helps patients suffering from Depression and Bipolar Disorder is not completely understood on a patient-by-patient basis and the prescribed medication regimen is not always effective or loses its effectiveness. This in turn forces the patients, their loved ones, and mental healthcare providers to constantly monitor every aspect of the patient’s life on a day-by-day basis to identify any cause for concern. This puts a tremendous burden on the patient and the patient’s support team. As a result, there is an unmet need for additional methods to manage Depression and Bipolar Disorder other than medication and talk therapy. bStable provides patients and their support team this much needed and powerful mechanism necessary to effectively manage the patient’s life. In addition to powerful patient monitoring features, bStable includes support for psychotherapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other affective disorders such as: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), social phobia disorder, anxiety disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
