As someone diagnosed with bipolar disorder, you must have a bipolar disorder life management system. If your bipolar disorder is not managed, you could face:

1. Losing your life or another person's life
2. Not detecting that your child has the disorder early enough
3. Inability to be a part of your children's lives
4. Destroyed relationships - friends, family, co-workers
5. Loss of life savings
6. Loss of job
7. Being arrested and incurring public humiliation, legal turmoil, & possible jail time and/or probation
8. Sexually transmitted diseases

10. Hurting innocent people
11. Loss of freedoms such as the ability to operate a motor vehicle
12. Not realizing your full life's potential due to constantly trying to manage the disorder
13. Living life anxious, irritable, indecisive, paranoid, and full of guilt
14. Drug abuse
15. Alcohol abuse
16. Uneven energy levels
17. Thought disorder
18. Isolating yourself and spiraling into deep depression
19. Suicide attempts
20. Losing the respect of those you love and admire due to poor behavior
